Well I was gone for 4 months this year, and was way over my head in home renovations for the two months after I returned. So the 3k I put on it, was all done last fall. It's driven frequently, just never in the rain, and not to work, I put 12k on it the first year I owned it and it wasnt my DD, just lots of road trips/cruises. But you are right it has sat alot this past year, so I thought the hood was a good shot because it gets heated from the engine/sun and it's catching road grime and wind and bugs when driven. However I believe I will be making the same post next year and the hood won't look much different. Like I said above, previous owner Zaino'ed it over two years prior to my purchasing it, and it was still beading up like fresh wax in most places after many washes and 4-5 months of my ownership. It's good stuff!
